Parish Council and its Commissions
The purpose of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Council is to guide the entire
operation of the parish, enabling the Gospel message to be brought forth,
resulting in a Catholic Christian Community. The Parish Council strives towards
this purpose by:
1. Acting as a consultative body to the pastor in matters pertaining to the
2. Providing the visionary planning for the future direction of our parish.
3. Serving as an available channel of communication among clergy and laity
of our parish.

5. Through its commissions, continuously assessing the spiritual and
temporal needs of the individual, the family, the parish, the community and the
world, and after setting priorities, developing and implementing programs aimed
at meeting these needs.
Four commissions have been established within the Parish Council to oversee all
parish activities: Administration & Finance, Liturgy, Christian Formation,
Christian Service & Family Life.
Through these commissions Parish Council members shall serve as liaisons to
communicate with various ministries and organizations.
